Trying to transfer files to SD Card?

I made a huge upgrade, the original Droid to the Bionic, but I can't figure out how to get my media files and what not over to the Bionic. I see from scouring the forums that there is some confusion over the fact that there is access to both the internal memory and SD card via your computer. Color me confused. For instance, I dragged my entire music folder from my original Droid SD card to the Bionic SD card and only about a quarter of the music showed up on the Bionic. Same went for videos and photos. For the sake of experimentation, I dragged a few songs, a video and some pictures over to the internal memory and everything showed up just fine. What's the deal here? Is there something that I have to do in order to make all of my files accessible from the Bionic SD Card? This is pretty frustrating, I've been trying to figure something out for the past two hours and I can't seem to find a decent answer anywhere via "The Google".

You might check to be sure that you have the file path correct in the music app you are using (sdcart-ext vs sdcard)...Can you use either the stock file manager or Astro to see if all of the music is there - if you see it all, play a song to make sure it isn't a file conversion issue.

That's interesting. Are you using the "Media" folder. I don't know that its still required, but that was how it was with the D1, so that's how I still do it. I start with a Media Folder on the SD Card, then add a Music folder to that folder, a Ringtones folder, and a Notifications folder. All I did was move my folder from my D1 to Dinc to Charge, then Charge to Bio, and it worked every time. I've added to the folder along the way and all of my tunes, ringtones, and notification sounds keep showing up on each phone.

To get to your sdcard you need to make sure your under sdcard ext that's where you will see files on cwm and all that hope that helps
