    Bionic Toolbox Updated by P3Droid

    Updated 9/19/11

If you haven't gotten the toolbox you can get it by purchasing the Team Black Hat app.
If you do have the toolbox you can install the new version by uninstalling the toolbox and downloading from the Team Black Hat app.

P3Droid updated his toolbox for the Bionic/Droid 3 last night with a few new features. The toolbox feature list now includes:

**@P3Droid - URGENT: In toolbox, You must select redownload fonts immediately otherwise using stock fonts will leave you stuck at the M. Sorry folks.**
**Check the bottom of the post for info on how to fix soft brick induced by the font changer.**

    My custom Android boot logo:
    Download

    To install
    - Download the file and move to /sdcard/tbhtoolbox/custom_boot_logos folder
    - Change the .raw to .img
    - You can then select it with the toolbox

How to make your own boot logo's and flashing them via the toolbox via My Droid World:

    Windows:

    1) create any image you want sized 540 x 540
    2) The top and bottom 1pixel edge will be the top/bottom color of the boot logo
    3) After you create your image you need to flatten the image (right click on the layer and select flatten)
    4) Select save as and save as a Photoshop. RAW (name the file with a .img ending)
    5) Check size of save file - should be (854 KB - 874,800 bytes)
    5) Move your file to the /sdcard/tbhtoolbox/custom_boot_logos folder.

    Linux Gimp Editor:

    1) create any image you want sized 540 x 540
    2) The top and bottom 1pixel edge will be the top/bottom color of the boot logo
    3) After you create your image you need to flatten the image (right click on the layer and select flatten)
    4) Select save as and set file type to .RAW image (name the file with a .img ending)
    5) Check size of save file - should be (854 KB - 874,800 bytes)
    5) Move your file to the /sdcard/tbhtoolbox/custom_boot_logos folder

Fix for Font Induced Soft Brick from My Droid World:

Make sure you have adb installed on your computer

    1) open command prompt and go to the folder that contains adb (C:\android-sdk\platform-tools)
    2) restart your phone in BP Tools Mode
    1. Pull Battery
    2. Hold both volume keys and power button
    3. press down volume to BP Tools
    4. Press up volume button
    5. connect to computer
    3) type adb shell
    4) type su
    5) type mount -o rw,remount /dev/null /system
    6) type cd /system/fonts
    7) type ls -l
    8) find the font that has a size of 0(zero) This is the one we will replace.
    7) type cp DroidSansMono.ttf (DroidSans.ttf or DroidSans-Bold.ttf or Clockopia.ttf) Do not select all three .ttf files only the one you identified as having a file size of 0 (zero).

I am gonna sticky this for now - especially with the ability to add custom logos / animations as well as the font info...

It may change down the road but for now, good info that needs to be easily accessible...

lol it keeps telling em that all the fonts and loaders are no good. I don't mind though as long as it got rid of the bloatware I don't really care much. Too new to this whole thing to go mess with files
